Description

These baked chicken thighs bring irresistible flavor and juicy tenderness to your table. With simple ingredients and quick prep, they are perfect for a hassle-free dinner that everyone will love.


Ingredients

  • 8 chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and let the chicken thighs come to room temperature. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • In a small bowl, mix the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper to create the spice blend.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add the chicken thighs and drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with ⅔ of the spice blend. Use your hands to coat the chicken thoroughly.
  • Place the chicken thighs on a rack set over a baking sheet. Sprinkle the remaining spice mix over the top.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 170°F. For extra crispiness, broil for 2-3 minutes. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs for the best flavor and moisture.
For added crispness, you can broil the chicken for a few minutes at the end of baking.
