Description

Chocolate Covered Mint Oreos offer an irresistible blend of flavors with a delightful crunch. With easy preparation and key ingredients like mint-flavored Oreos and semisweet chocolate, this treat is perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • mint flavored oreos – 24 cookies
  • semisweet chocolate disks – 16 ounces
  • peppermint extract – 1/4 teaspoon
  • green sprinkles – 2 tablespoons

Instructions

  • Place the semisweet chocolate disks in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds. Stir and continue heating in 30-second increments until smooth.
  • Add peppermint extract to the melted chocolate and mix thoroughly.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  • Submerge each Oreo cookie in the chocolate using a fork. Lift and tap against the bowl to remove excess chocolate.
  • Transfer the coated Oreo to the prepared baking sheet.
  • Pour any leftover melted chocolate into a piping bag or a Ziploc bag with one corner snipped off.
  • Drizzle the chocolate over the cookies in a zigzag pattern and immediately add green sprinkles on top.
  • Allow the cookies to set at room temperature for 30-60 minutes or in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

Notes

Ensure the chocolate is completely melted for a smooth coating.
You can use any colored sprinkles for a different look.
