Ingredients
- mint flavored oreos – 24 cookies
- semisweet chocolate disks – 16 ounces
- peppermint extract – 1/4 teaspoon
- green sprinkles – 2 tablespoons
Instructions
- Place the semisweet chocolate disks in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds. Stir and continue heating in 30-second increments until smooth.
- Add peppermint extract to the melted chocolate and mix thoroughly.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Submerge each Oreo cookie in the chocolate using a fork. Lift and tap against the bowl to remove excess chocolate.
- Transfer the coated Oreo to the prepared baking sheet.
- Pour any leftover melted chocolate into a piping bag or a Ziploc bag with one corner snipped off.
- Drizzle the chocolate over the cookies in a zigzag pattern and immediately add green sprinkles on top.
- Allow the cookies to set at room temperature for 30-60 minutes or in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
