Description

These garlic butter lamb chops are packed with irresistible flavor and are simple to prepare. Perfect for a quick and satisfying dinner that will impress anyone.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ lbs lamb chops
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Divide the Italian herbs into two equal portions.
  2. Season the lamb chops with salt, pepper, and half the fresh herbs on both sides.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt half the butter.
  4. Add the lamb chops to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
  5. Remove chops from pan and let rest on a wire rack.
  6. As chops rest, add other half butter to pan and melt.
  7. Add shallot and garlic and heat until fragrant, about 45 seconds. Add the remaining fresh herbs.
  8. Stir in wine to deglaze pan, stirring up browned bits of lamb.
  9. Bring sauce to boil and let reduce and thicken, about 2 minutes.
  10. Drizzle sauce over lamb.
  11. Optional: Sprinkle fresh parsley or sprigs of rosemary over the lamb chops before serving.
  12. Serve the garlic butter pan-seared lamb chops with your favorite side dishes such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad.

Notes

For best results, use fresh herbs instead of dried for a more vibrant flavor.
Allow the lamb to rest after cooking for better juiciness.
Feel free to pair with various side dishes based on personal preference.
