Description

This Roast Sirloin with Potato Bake is a delightful dish offering juicy beef and flavorful garlic potatoes. With simple prep and mouthwatering ingredients, it’s perfect for a quick and satisfying dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds beef sirloin
  • 1 pound baby potatoes
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, salt, black pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
  • Rub the mixture all over the beef sirloin to coat it evenly.
  • Place the beef in a roasting pan and arrange baby potatoes around it.
  • Roast in the oven for approximately 1 hour, until a meat thermometer reads 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.
  • Once cooked, let the beef rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve the sliced beef with the roasted garlic potatoes.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the beef with the garlic mixture overnight.
Ensure the beef rests properly to maintain its juices and tenderness.
Adjust seasoning according to personal taste.
