- 4½ pounds pork shoulder
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt

- ½ teaspoon cumin
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 orange, juiced
Instructions
- Mix the paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, and cumin in a small bowl to create the spice rub.
- Generously rub the spice blend all over the pork shoulder.
- Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker and add the diced onion, chopped garlic, and orange juice on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. The pork should shred easily with two forks when done.
- Transfer shredded pork to a cutting board, then return it to the slow cooker to soak in the juices.
