Ingredients
Scale
- 20 glazed donut holes
- ¾ cup chocolate chips
- 10–20 pretzel sticks
- ¾ cup chocolate jimmies sprinkles
Instructions
- Break long pretzel sticks in half to use only 10.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a small microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until smooth.
- Pour chocolate sprinkles into a separate small bowl for dipping.
- Dip the top of each donut hole into the melted chocolate, coating just the tip, and scrape excess off.
- Immediately dip the chocolate-topped donut hole into the sprinkles to adhere.
- Insert a pretzel stick into the chocolate-covered end of each donut hole for the acorn stem, being careful not to dislodge the sprinkles.
- Place the decorated donut holes on a parchment-lined tray and repeat until finished.
- Chill in the fridge or freezer for 5 minutes if desired, or enjoy them right away.
Notes
Adjust the amount of pretzel sticks depending on their length.
If using chocolate chips from the fridge or freezer, expect a longer melting time.
Serve immediately or after chilling for a firmer chocolate coating.
