- 1½ cups apple cider

- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted

- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt together.
- In another large bowl, whisk together the apple cider, sugar, buttermilk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into greased donut molds, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 7-9 minutes, or until edges are golden and donuts spring back when touched.
- Remove from the oven after baking and cool for about 2 minutes before transferring to a sheet tray.
- Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl, brush the tops of the donuts with melted butter, and then dip them into the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
