Description

This Baked Spaghetti with Cream Cheese delivers rich flavors with minimal effort. It’s comforting, creamy, and features pasta enveloped in savory meat sauce and melted cheese—a perfect quick dinner for any night.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2–3 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1½ teaspoons italian seasoning blend
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cups jarred marinara sauce
  • ½ pound spaghetti noodles
  • 8 ounces block style cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ cup finely shredded parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces block whole-milk mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil, and add ground beef, ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the beef is browned, about 5-6 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer on low for 10 minutes.
  4. Cook spaghetti noodles in boiling salted water until al dente, about 9-11 minutes, then drain.
  5. In a bowl, mix drained spaghetti with cream cheese, the remaining Italian seasoning, and garlic powder until smooth. If needed, add olive oil to prevent sticking.
  6. Spread 1 cup of meat sauce in the bottom of the baking dish, add spaghetti, and top with remaining sauce.
  7. Sprinkle parmesan and mozzarella over the spaghetti.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes until cheese is melted and slightly golden.
  9. Let it rest for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve.

Notes

For extra creaminess, make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature before mixing.
You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey for a lighter option.
Feel free to add additional vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms to the meat sauce.
