- Gently mix in the crushed pineapple, ensuring it is well distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

- Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.
- To make the frosting, beat the softened cream cheese and butter until creamy, then add the powdered sugar and vanilla.
