- 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons garlic salt
- 1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Unfold the thawed puff pastry sheets on a floured surface. Roll them out gently to smooth the creases.
- Spread half of the melted butter on each puff pastry sheet, then evenly sprinkle on half of the garlic salt, white cheddar cheese, and parmesan cheese.
- Cut the puff pastry into 3/4" wide strips using a pizza cutter. Twist each strip and arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Whisk together the egg and water in a small bowl, then brush this egg wash over the twisted pastry strips.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until they are puffed up and a light golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Make sure the puff pastry is fully thawed for easier rolling and handling.
