Ingredients
Scale
- 12 Frozen Dinner Rolls
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- ½ cup butter melted
- ⅓ cup Parmesan Cheese
- Mozzarella Cheese block cut into ½ inch pieces
Instructions
- Place frozen dinner rolls in a greased cast-iron skillet or baking dish. Cover with another pan and let rise for 1 hour at room temperature.
- While the rolls are rising, cut the mozzarella into ½-inch cubes, aiming for 12 total cubes.
- Stretch each roll around a mozzarella cube and pinch the seams tightly. Return to the skillet seam-side down.
- Cover the stuffed rolls and allow to rise for another 2 to 3 hours until doubled in size and soft to touch.
- Mix melted butter and granulated garlic. Brush half of the mixture over the rolls and reserve the rest.
- Sprinkle ⅓ cup of Parmesan cheese on top just before baking.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F, ideally near the end of the second rise.
- Bake for 20 minutes until the tops are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and brush the remaining garlic butter over the rolls while hot.
Notes
For best results, ensure the rolls have enough time to rise fully for a soft texture.
You can use any type of cheese you prefer, though mozzarella is recommended for its melting quality.
Serve immediately for the best flavor, as the cheese is gooey and delightful fresh out of the oven.
