Description

Ingredients

  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 3/4 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the coleslaw mix and sliced green onions, tossing briefly.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, celery seeds, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld and cabbage to soften slightly.
  5. Before serving, give the slaw a quick toss and taste, adjusting seasoning with more salt, pepper, or vinegar if desired.

Notes

For added crunch, you can include shredded carrots or diced apples.
If you prefer a tangier flavor, increase the amount of apple cider vinegar in the dressing.
