Description

This Easy Honey Glaze for Ham combines brown sugar, honey, and spices for a flavorful addition to any meal. Perfect for quick dinners or holiday feasts!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, honey, orange juice, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.
  2. Stir the mixture while bringing it to a rapid boil, then boil for about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the glaze from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
  4. Brush or drizzle the glaze over the ham 20 minutes before cooking is complete.
  5. Return the ham to the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 20 minutes until the glaze is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 140 degrees F.

Notes

The glaze can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
For a twist, add a splash of bourbon or apple cider to the glaze for extra flavor.
Ensure the glaze is evenly spread over the ham for the best results.
