Description

This Grilled Corn on the Cob is a summertime favorite! With its delightful buttery flavor and quick prep, it’s ideal for a cookout or casual dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 full-size corn on the cob
  • ¼ tsp oil (optional, if using a griddle pan)
  • 30 g butter or dairy-free alternative (plain/herb/garlic/chilli/dulse)
  • seasoning (salt/pepper/herbs/chilli flakes)

Instructions

  1. Prepare all butters and seasonings ahead of time.
  2. If the corn has husks, peel back the husk and remove the silk to expose the kernels. Secure the husk if desired.
  3. Preheat the BBQ, grill, or griddle pan to high heat.
  4. Lightly brush oil on a griddle pan if using. No oil needed for BBQ or grill unless preferred.
  5. Place corn cobs onto the grill or in griddle pan.
  6. Turn the corn frequently until it turns a deeper yellow with slight charring, about 8 to 10 minutes. Avoid overcooking to keep it juicy.
  7. Remove from heat and serve with your favorite butter and seasonings.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different flavored butters for added taste.
Monitor cooking time closely to avoid drying out the corn.
Corn is best served warm immediately after grilling.
