These Grinch Oreos are a fun and tasty treat featuring red velvet Oreos coated with smooth green candy melts, making them perfect for any gathering. Their simple prep and festive decoration make them a must-try!

- 10 ounces light green candy melts
- 12.2 ounces red velvet Oreos
- 24 red heart sprinkles
- 1 tablespoon dark green sanding sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside. Reserve ½ cup of light green candy melt pieces for the final drizzle.
- Melt the remaining candy melts in a double boiler over low heat, stirring every 30 seconds until fully melted and smooth, or use the microwave in 30-second intervals.
- Dip one Red Velvet Oreo cookie into the melted chocolate using a fork. Lift it out and gently tap the fork against the edge of the bowl to remove excess coating.
- Place the dipped cookie on the prepared tray and repeat with the remaining Oreos.
- Put the reserved ½ cup of candy melts into a microwave-safe piping bag. Melt on low power while massaging the bag every 60 seconds.
- Snip a small piece of the tip off the piping bag and drizzle the chocolate over the dipped Oreos in a zig-zag pattern.
- Immediately top each cookie with a red heart sprinkle and optional green sanding sugar.
- Allow the chocolate to set completely at room temperature or in the fridge before serving.
Notes
Make sure to let the melted candy cool slightly before dipping the Oreos.
For a more vibrant look, consider using additional different colored sprinkles.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.
