Description

This Homemade Whipped Cream is a dream come true for dessert lovers. With just three ingredients—heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract—you can create a rich and creamy topping that elevates any dessert. It’s simple to prepare, making it an essential part of your dessert repertoire.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240g/ml) heavy cream or heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar or confectioners’ sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  2. Using a handheld or stand mixer with a whisk attachment, whip on medium-high speed for about 3–4 minutes until medium peaks form.
  3. If the cream is over-whipped and curdled, add a little more cold heavy cream and gently fold in until smooth.
  4. Use immediately or cover tightly and refrigerate for up to 24 hours.

Notes

For best results, ensure that the heavy cream is very cold before whipping.
Medium peaks are ideal for topping desserts, giving a light and fluffy texture.
Store any leftovers in the fridge, and use within 24 hours for optimal freshness.
