- 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp matcha powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking dish by lining it with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and white chocolate chips until smooth, then stir in the matcha powder until combined. Let it cool slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and kosher salt.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
- Gradually fold in the flour until no streaks are visible.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Drizzle the slightly cooled matcha ganache over the top of the batter.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the edges are set and a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use high-quality white chocolate.
