Description

This Orange Creamsicle Pie is a sweet treat featuring mandarin oranges, creamy yogurt, and a smooth texture. Ideal for gatherings or a quick dessert at home, this pie is a delicious fusion of flavors that’s easy to whip up and sure to impress!


Ingredients

  • 1 graham cracker crust
  • 15 ounces mandarin oranges (1 can drained, juice reserved)
  • 3.4 ounces orange jello mix
  • 12 ounces orange creamsicle yogurt (2 containers)
  • 8 ounces whipped cream plus more for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large glass bowl, combine the orange gelatin with 1/4 cup of reserved mandarin orange juice and microwave on high for 1 minute.
  2. Chill the gelatin mixture in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes until it thickens.
  3. Whisk in the orange yogurt and whipped cream until well combined, then gently fold in 1/2 cup of chopped mandarin oranges.
  4. Pour the filling into the graham cracker crust and top with dollops of additional whipped cream and whole mandarin oranges.
  5. Refrigerate until set, about 4 hours. For a frozen dessert, freeze for 2 hours.

Notes

Feel free to add fresh orange zest for extra flavor.
This pie can be made a day in advance for convenience.
Use low-fat yogurt for a lighter version.
