Ingredients
Scale
- 1 small seedless watermelon
- 8 apples
- ½ yellow honeydew melon
- 4 cups strawberries
- 2 cups raspberries
- 2 cups blueberries
- 1 cup red grapes
- 1 cup blackberries
- lemon juice for soaking apples (1 tablespoon per 1 cup of water)
Instructions
- Wash all fruit and allow them to dry.
- Cut watermelon, apples, and honeydew into small squares. Cut strawberries as needed based on size. If not serving immediately, soak sliced apples in a lemon juice water mixture for at least 10 minutes.
- Begin layering blueberries and blackberries in the top left of your dish. Alternate layers of red and white fruits in a horizontal line until the dish is filled or you've used all the fruits.
- Cut one apple into stars using a cookie cutter. Place these star-shaped apples on top of the blue layer to finish the dish.
Notes
Choose ripe fruits for the best flavor.
Soaking apples in lemon juice prevents browning if not serving immediately.
Make the salad ahead of time for easier serving at gatherings.
